Closing on iDealwine.com, all proceeds to French charity Vendanges Solidaires
December 5th – Leading wine auctioneer in France and global leader in online wine auctions, iDealwine has teamed up with wine charity Vendanges Solidaires for a very worthy cause. With bidding set to close on Wednesday December 6th, all proceeds will go to the French charity helping winemakers suffering harvest loss linked to the effects of climate change
350 bottles with an estimated value of €50,000 will go under the hammer in this charity auction. Donated by winemakers all over France and by the charity’s own partners including Becky Wasserman & Co, Duclot-la Vinicole, l’Athenæum bookshop in Beaune, Montlouis-sur-Loire ODG, Les Artisans Vignerons and by iDealwine itself.

The charity Vendanges Solidaires was founded in 2016 by Romuald Cardon and Julien Fouin. Since then, financial aid has been awarded to over 70 young winemakers, less than 10 years in business. Funds went to those whose entire harvests have been lost in conditions associated with climate change.
