November 30, 2023 – On December 7, 2023, Château Malartic-Lagravière will showcase its wines with InterCellar at an event organized by Rug Radio, a leading decentralized media platform in the Web3 space, on the sidelines of the Art Basel in Miami Beach. The objective is to target a young and trendy clientele, aligning with the digital
and Web3 initiatives.

Malartic-Lagravière: A Refreshed Image of Bordeaux Wines

In April, Malartic-Lagravière launched a collection of 150 magnums as NFTs on the intercellar.io platform. The sale sold out in less than an hour, demonstrating the Web3 community’s interest in exceptional products and Malartic’s commitment to embracing the digital realm. In line with this modernization of distribution, Château Malartic Lagravière will present its red and white wines at a MasterClass and VIP dinner organized by the InterCellar Marketplace at Rug Radio’s R Haus.

This event will take place alongside Art Basel Miami, a major global contemporary art event where NFTs have become increasingly significant over the years.

The Bonnie Family Conquering America

By participating in this Miami Beach event, Château Malartic-Lagravière continues to assert its presence on the other side of the Atlantic. The property is known for sponsoring movies and events in Hollywood, showcasing its bottles alongside cinema stars like Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Reynolds, or Charlize Theron –
a successful communication strategy for this renowned classified growth from Bordeaux.

The Bonnie family also owns a vineyard in Argentina, in the best wine producing area of Mendoza, with Bodega DiamAndes. The fine wines from this Estate Bottled Vineyard will also be offered for tasting during the MasterClass organized in Miami with InterCellar.

About Château Malartic-Lagravière:

Château Malartic-Lagravière has stood for centuries on a superb gravel hilltop in Bordeaux’s oldest winegrowing region. Enjoying an excellent reputation since the 18e century, Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of only six properties to be classified in both red and white wine.

The 73 hectares of vines – including 7 hectares of white, located on a magnificent terroir of dry gravel and clay, are managed according to an agroecological environmental charter, with a particular attention to the preservation of its ecosystem.

Today, the second generation of the Bonnie family has taken the reins and is managing the Grand Cru Classé in an ongoing quest to improve the quality and excellence of the wines. Proud to preserve two centuries of heritage, the family is also resolutely forward-looking and has always been ready to embrace innovation.
