Chosen Family Wines Announces Fall Release of Three New Wines, Including First Ever Cabernet Sauvignon

Celebrate the Fall Lineup with Owner Channing Frye and VP Tiquette Bramlett at their  Wine Club Pickup Party at Han Oak Sunday, September 24

PORTLAND, Ore. (September 20, 2023) –  Chosen Family Wines, founded by retired NBA champion Channing Frye, has announced the fall release of three new wines, including a 2022 Willamette Valley Chardonnay, 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, and their first ever Cabernet Sauvignon in collaboration with Salty Goats. 

They are celebrating the new lineup at their Wine Club Pickup Party at Han Oak on Sunday, September 24th. Frye will offer a preview tasting of Chosen’s newest wine club releases, with bites by Toki. Tickets are available via tock in three time slots for $55/person: 12-1:30p, 1:30-3p, or 3-5:30p. Members receive two complimentary tickets each. 

Chosen Family Wines offers three levels of membership, with shipments offered bi-annually. Chosen’s Fall wine releases are:

  • 2022 Willamette Valley Chardonnay ($45/bottle)
    • 11 months in 15% new French oak, 75% neutral French oak, 10% stainless steel. This wine has a refreshing minerality with notes of green apple, white flowers, candied lemon, and brioche.
  • 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir ($48/bottle)
    • 11 months in 15% new French oak, 85% neutral French oak. This wine has a bright acidity with notes of cherry pie, raspberry, spice box, and forest floor.
  • 2021 Chosen x Salty Goats Cabernet Sauvignon ($120/bottle)
    • 18 months in 60% new french oak. From the Diogenes Ridge Vineyard in the Howell Mountain Ava in Saint Helena, CA. Lush and opulent with notes of ripe fruit and spice mixed with dried flower and elements of camphor. 100 cases produced. 

Their new releases will be poured at the pickup party, in addition to their 2022 Willamette Valley Rose and 2022 Chosen x Hazelfern Syrah. 

All wines are available via chosenfamilywines.com, with members granted first access to all new releases.
