September 14th – On October 9, Star Wine List will celebrate the great wine lists of Ireland for the very first time, at Sommit Ireland in Waterford. The international sommelier jury has now decided the finalists.
Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams behind them. It is being held around the world with events in New York, London and Cape Town. And now – in Ireland.
In Ireland, the prize is awarded in ten categories, and the winner in several categories will also qualify for the International Final in 2024. The jury is now done deliberating, and the finalists have been selected.
The Ireland wine list awards will take place in Waterford on October 9, during the Sommit Ireland.
The best short, medium-sized and long wine lists will be awarded. Sustainability has gotten its own category as well as the best newcomer, and Nyetimber joins as partner for the Best sparkling wine list. And like on all our events, the best Austrian wine lists are also recognized
