July 25th – Today the Napa Valley delegation for the Great Wine Capitals, which includes the County of Napa, Napa Valley Vintners, and Visit Napa Valley, proudly announces the call for submissions for the 2024 Best of Wine Tourism Regional Awards.

The annually-held Best Of Wine Tourism Awards celebrates innovation and excellence in wine tourism throughout the greatest wine regions in the world. Napa Valley is among 12 regions globally – and the only one in North America – that is recognized internationally by Great Wine Capitals for offering exceptional experiences in wine tourism.

In Napa Valley, the Great Wine Capitals Best of Wine Tourism Awards provide the opportunity to recognize innovation and excellence in wine tourism and hospitality in the following categories:

  • Accommodations
  • Architecture & Landscapes
  • Arts & Culture
  • Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences
  • Sustainable Wine Tourism Experiences
  • Wine Tourism Restaurants
  • Wine Tourism Services

The 2023 Napa Valley Regional Award winners included Stanly Ranch, an Auberge Resorts Collection (Accommodations); Far Niente Winery (Architecture & Landscapes); HALL Napa Valley (Arts & Culture); V. Sattui Winery (Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences); Platypus Wine Tours (Wine Tourism Services); Tres Sabores Winery (Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices); and PRESS Restaurant (Wine Tourism Restaurants). Subsequently, PRESS Restaurant, the 2023 regional winner in the category for Wine Tourism Restaurants, went on to receive global recognition as the 2023 Global Winner of Wine Tourism Restaurants.

To enter the program, visitor-facing tourism and hospitality businesses in Napa Valley are invited to self-nominate by submitting an entry in one or more of the above categories. Access the online entry form. Submissions are due August 25, 2023.

There is no cost to enter, and winners will be announced in front of an audience of industry peers at the annual Visit Napa Valley Destination Symposium on September 28, 2023. Winners from this regional group are then in consideration for the Global Best of Wine Tourism awards, giving recognition and visibility on a global stage.
