Stonewall, Texas – July 25, 2023 – Kuhlman Cellars will host a Vina Vita University Winemaking class on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 11 am – 1:30 pm. The Fredericksburg-area vineyard invites wine enthusiasts to explore the science and art of hand crafting wine alongside their Winemaker. This 2.5 hour interactive class introduces winemaking concepts, goals and challenges in a fun and educational session. - Experience (and perform!) several Winemaking tasks including testing fermentation progress, punching down fermenting red grape, and evaluating the taste of fermenting grapes
- Learn the importance of accurate records to document the winemaking history of each wine
- Plus enjoy an exclusive Vintage Comparative wine tasting of 7 different wines includes the 2017 Ignis and 2021 Ignis (unreleased barrel sample) red wine, 2019 Barranca and 2021 Barranca (unreleased barrel sample) red wine, 2021 Estate White, unreleased 2022 Estate White and a tank sample of the 2023 Estate White
