July 1, 2023; Lyndhurst, NJ: Historic Port producer Delaforce has named Worldwide Libations its new exclusive USA Importer. The wines of Delaforce include a full range of Ports and Douro wines.
Delaforce’s history in the Douro Valley dates back nearly 200 years when the family arrived from the England in 1834 and eventually founded the Delaforce Port firm in 1868. Between 1894 and 1906 George Delaforce had a warrant to supply Port wine to the Portuguese Royal Household, a rare honor for a non-Portuguese citizen. The company still uses the royal coat of arms on the label.
Almost every port style is represented in the Delaforce range of wines which are sold throughout the world. Over the years, Delaforce has developed a reputation for its outstanding blending and aging skills which express themselves in the company’s renowned aged tawny ports. Its distinguished portfolio of products continues to earn the company its recognition as the master of the port blend.
The available ports from Delaforce include Ruby and Tawny (both SRP $17); Rosé and LBV (both SRP $22); 10 Year Old Tawny (SRP $34); 20 Year Old Tawny (SRP $57); and Vintage Ports.
The portfolio also comprises of three Douro table wines including Alvarinho (SRP $19); a Red Blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz & Tinta Barroca (SRP $13); and a Touriga Nacional (SRP $24).
