Somerston Estate Unveils Inaugural “Winemaker Lunch” Series at Its Esteemed Napa Valley Estate

(July 11, 2023; St. Helena, CA) – Somerston Estate, a premier Napa Valley Cabernet house located on an expansive 1,682-acre property in the picturesque eastern Vaca range, has announced the launch of its “Winemaker Lunch” series. Hosted at the estate by Director of Viticulture & Winemaking, Co-Founder Craig Becker and Winemaker Cody Hurd, this intimate experience will feature seasonal, artfully crafted menus by Somerston’s new Estate Executive Chef Dan Solomon, designed to pair exquisitely with Somerston Estate’s limited-production wines.

Winemaker Lunch at Somerston Estate

Beginning July 21, a limited number guests will have the opportunity to travel to the estate to enjoy a distinctive lunch and wine experience while gaining an inside look into the various farming and winemaking processes that define Somerston’s renowned wines. Offered until October 20, each lunch takes place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets are $225 per person, with exclusive pricing available for Somerston Preferred Access members. July 21: The inaugural lunch takes guests into the heart of the vineyard, exploring the early stages of fruit set and veraison, and offering an inside look into the 2023 harvest.

August 18: As summer progresses, guests will learn about the meticulous preparations involved in readying the vineyard and cellar for the imminent arrival of freshly harvested fruit.

September 22: The splendor of Napa Valley in the fall is the backdrop for the September lunch, where guests will witness the bounty of the region and taste fruit at various stages of ripeness.

October 20: The final lunch in the series coincides with the exciting harvest period, offering guests a glimpse into the bustling winery operations, a tour of the facilities, and interaction with Somerston’s dedicated cellar crew for a deeper understanding of top-tier wine production.
