(July 10, 2023; Mendoza, Argentina)—Bodega Trivento is thrilled to announce that the winery has been recognized as the world’s top-selling Argentinian wine brand for a third consecutive year. This acknowledgment comes by way of the 2022 report from IWSR Drinks Analysis, the preeminent global alcoholic beverage market research and trends firm. Bolstered by continuous investments in innovative winemaking techniques and sustainable business practices, the certified B Corp winery continues to lead the Argentinian wine market with over $229.36 million in 2022 sales worldwide

“We are proud to see Bodega Trivento’s reach extend significantly on an international level, beyond our home base in Mendoza, Argentina,” says Silvina Barros, marketing manager at Bodega Trivento. “Domestic sales at Bodega Trivento rose by 60% in 2022, and our other major markets including the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Brazil also experienced significant growth.”

In the United States, the Trivento Reserve Malbec secured the second position in sales for the Argentinian Malbec category. Concurrent with this announcement, Bodega Trivento is rolling out the newest addition to its Reserve tier wines available in the US: the 2022 Trivento White Malbec, the first of its kind from Argentina. The exciting venture, overseen by Marcos Jofré, Bodega Trivento’s Chief Executive Officer, represents the culmination of years of vinicultural experimentation at Bodega Trivento on behalf of winemakers Germán di Cesare, Maximiliano Ortiz, Rafael Miranda and Magdalena Viani and the success of the wine within the Argentinian market.

“Since our inception in 1996, the mission of Bodega Trivento has been to sustainably and positively grow the Argentinian wine industry on a global scale,” said Jofré. “The past few years have been incredibly pivotal in our journey as a company—from maintaining the largest private photovoltaic plant in the Argentinian wine industry to earning B Corp status in 2021 and pioneering an entirely new category of wine with the creation of our White Malbec.”

The largest B Corp-certified organization in the Argentinian agricultural sector, Bodega Trivento continually commits to sustainable agricultural, vinicultural, and social and economic practices across its three production facilities. With over 3620 acres of land planted to vine, this is an enormous achievement for an organization operating at such a scale. Trivento has joined the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and regularly completes reports compliant with The UN 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, Trivento is on track to be fully carbon neutral by 2050. Guided by the principles of sustainable innovation, Bodega Trivento plans to continue infrastructure development at the winery’s home base in Maipú, building upon its robust gastronomic and hospitality programming. About Bodega Trivento

Rooted in the energy of Argentina’s passion for wine, Trivento—meaning three winds — is synonymous with expressive, terroir‐driven Malbec that paints a vivid portrait of Mendoza’s high‐altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The character and quality of each wine is guided by the spirited vision of Chief Winemaker Germán di Cesare, who honors the varied soils, mountain snowmelt and powerful winds that shape Mendoza’s vines.

Three distinct Trivento collections highlight the unique characteristics of two coveted sub‐regions in Mendoza, Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley: Eolo, a limited-production single‐vineyard luxury Malbec from century‐old vines; Golden Reserve, a passionate expression of treasured and historic Malbec vines; and Reserve, a beloved collection crafted predominantly from estate vines that includes the White Malbec, ascendant Maximum Red Blend and the #2 best‐selling Malbec in the U.S. Founded in 1996 and today a Certified B Corporation, Trivento welcomes visitors to experience the wine and culture of Mendoza at Bodega Trivento in Maipú or through a virtual tour of the winery’s modern art space, vineyards and barrel room.
