Saturday, July 15, 2023: The Grape Journey: Vineyard Tour & Pairing, 11:00am-2:00pm. Al Fresco Wine Dinner with Chef Catherine Venturini, 5:30pm

KENWOOD, CA (June 29, 2023) – Muscardini Cellars is pleased to announce their upcoming Italian-inspired events happening on Saturday, July 15, 2023. These Italian-themed events were inspired by Michael Muscardini’s recent travels abroad in Italy where a dream of his came true; one of the most prestigious restaurants in Florence, Golden View, is now serving Muscardini Cellars 2016 Merlot from Sangiacomo Vineyards and 2019 Tesoro Proprietary Red Blend. Golden View (https://goldenview.it/en/) is a truly exceptional Italian restaurant located steps away from Ponte Vecchio bridge. Unlike most Italian restaurants in Italy whose wines are typically Italian, Golden View serves over 450 wines, with over 380 wines from Italy, 67 wines from France, one from Spain, two from Chile and now featuring two from Sonoma, California!

Michael Muscardini is now back in Sonoma and he invites guests to join him in experiencing wine country the Italian way at Muscardini Cellars events happening on Saturday, July 15. Events include a vineyard tour + wine and cheese pairing experience at Los Chamizal Vineyards in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma Valley, and a Al Fresco Wine Dinner that features a 5-course menu from Chef Catherine Venturini, who also has Italian roots.

Beginning Saturday morning, Muscardini Cellars will host a Vineyard Tour & Pairing Experience at Los Chamizal Vineyards where guests will enjoy a three-part interactive tasting experience at the astounding and historic Los Chamizal Vineyards in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma Valley. The event will begin with guests embarking on a unique vineyard tour with estate owner and vintner Peter Haywood to learn more about Moon Mountain District and fruit that is grown from the astounding vineyards located there. Afterwards guests will dive into an elevated wine and cheese pairing that highlights the unique characteristics of Zinfandel. The event will conclude with guests engaging in a collective plein air painting experience, right in the heart of Verasion when grapes on the vine achieve the color and sugar levels they need before the harvest picking season begins. The experience is $75 for General Public and $65 for Wine Club Members; the price includes the vineyard tour, tasting flight, cheese pairing, canvas and paint. Reservations can be made on Tock.

During the evening Michael Muscardini and Chef Catherine Venturini will host an Al Fresco Wine Dinner. This summertime dining experience features a 5-course dinner from Chef Catherine Venturini of Olive & Vine Restaurant and Cuvée Wine Country Events paired with Michael Muscardini’s wines. Dinner will be served in the serene backyard at Muscardini Cellars where guests will enjoy seasonal and local ingredients, limited production wines, and local live acoustic music from singer, songwriter, and guitarist John Burdick. This amazing summertime dinner experience is $145 per person. The full menu can be found below and on the Muscardini Cellars website here. Tickets can be purchased here.
