June 13th – Dallas, TX – This month, Lisa Perrotti Brown MW, founder of The Wine Independent, will host two rare and uncommon tastings in Dallas.
On Friday, June 23rd, Perrotti Brown will be presenting a truly once-in-a-lifetime Château d’Yquem dinner, featuring 15 legendary vintages going back to the 19th Century. The full vintage line-up includes 1876, 1887, 1908, 1924, 1929, 1937, 1938, 1967, 1971, 1975, 1982, 1983, 1989, 1996, and 2001.
Given the rare nature of this collection of bottles, many purchased direct from the Château, only 8 place settings are available. Savored over a five-course meal specially created and paired with this incredible line-up, the discussion will be led by Pierre Lurton, director of Château d’Yquem, along with TWI founder and Bordeaux critic Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW. The price for this experience is $5,000.00 per person and will be held at the exclusive 55 Seventy Wine Club.
On Saturday, June 24th, the focus will shift to Château Cheval Blanc. Kicking off with the 2020 Petit Cheval Blanc (the estate’s white wine) and 2010 Petit Cheval (the second wine of Cheval Blanc), the vintages of Cheval Blanc include 1970, 1982, 1989, 2000, 2005, and 2009.In true Texan style, this dinner will be held in one of Dallas’ foremost establishments, the Tango Room, and will be again led by Pierre Lurton, director of Château Cheval Blanc, along with Perrotti-Brown MW. There are only 16 seats available, and the price will be $1,800.00 per person.
