Notre Vue logoWindsor, Sonoma County, June 2023 – Notre Vue Estate is offering The Naughty Fox Concert Series this summer. The concerts will take place on the winery’s Terrace at Block 23 on June 9, July 7, August 4 and September 8. Each concert will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and include a glass of wine and small bites.  The Terrace is a spectacularly beautiful deck with views of the winery’s lake and the rolling vineyard hills of the Russian River growing region. The winery is located at 11010 Estate Lane in Windsor.

Cost is $30 for wine club members, $45 for general admission. There is also the option of a VIP lounge table with its own bottle of wine, for six people, at $150.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

All of the artists are based in Sonoma County.

The bites include Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders with Remoulade and Pickles, Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Drizzle and Sausage Stuffed Mushroom.

The first in the series is Ellie James on June 9. Ellie has been performing professionally all over the world for more than 10 years, most recently opening for Grammy-winning artist Colbie Caillat and performing at Hollywood’s Viper Room and San Francisco’s Cafe du Nord. In 2022, she was named the North Bay’s Indie Artist of the Year by Bohemian North Bay.

On July 7 the concert features Vickie Guillory & The Sugar Cats. Vickie Guillory is recognized as one of Northern California’s premier soul singers. By the age of 21, she was touring the Pacific Northwest with 2 different bands. Twelve years agao she formed her own band, Vickie & The Sugar Cats. She uses professional musicians from all over Northern California in her band, keeping everything exciting, fun, and fresh.

On August 4 the music will be from The Second Street Band. The Second Street Band brings together four guys with over 40 years of experience rocking all over the Bay Area. They play blues, classic rock and lots of other groovy genres.

On September 8 it’s Dustin Saylor. Having been compared to the likes of Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, John Mayer and Needtobreathe, it’s no wonder Dustin Saylor has opened for hugely popular bands like Daughtry and Plain White T’s. A homegrown Northern California boy, his songwriting and country vibes are a perfect fit for a summer night on the Notre Vue terrace.

The wines to be offered will be from the winery’s estate vineyard line, Notre Vue Estate, and will include Chardonnay, Chardonnay Musque, Rose of GSM, Merlot, Blanc de Noirs, Cabernet Franc, GSM and Estate Red.

Notre Vue Estate encompasses 710 acres of land in both the Chalk Hill and Russian River Valley appellations. The Estate was founded by Bob and Renee Stein in 1992. Approximately 350 acres are dedicated to open space and classified as “Forever Wild” under an agreement with the Sonoma County Open Space District. The vineyards are planted to 16 varietals. Wine club members can enjoy hikes on trails that wind through the 250 acres of vineyard and 350 acres of open space. Abundant wildflowers, red-tailed hawks, turkeys, hummingbirds and a Golden Eagle or two live on the property. At the highest point on the property there are sweeping views to the east to the mountains above St. Helena and to the west as far as the Pacific Ocean.

The winery welcomes visitors for tours and tastings by reservation Thursday through Monday between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Reservations can be made at https://www.notrevueestate.com/book-a-wine-tasting.
