New Club is Nirvana for California Cabernet Collectors

(St. Helena, Calif.—June 5, 2023)— St. Helena’s ACME Fine Wines today announced the introduction of the APEX Wine Club. Founded in the heart of the Napa Valley in 2003 by Proprietor Karen Williams, ACME Fine Wines has long been regarded as one of the country’s premiere sources for hard-to-find, highly allocated California wines as well as debut offerings from new brands and rising star winemakers. Since the company’s inception 20 years ago, ACME’s wine clubs have provided insider access to all the hottest new brands, and ACME has never once repeated a wine in any of their clubs.

Each month, APEX will feature a curated selection of the three finest, cult-worthy bottles of California Cabernet and other refined reds the ACME team has discovered. Due to the scarcity and demand for the wines in the APEX club, membership is limited to only 100 members. In addition to the monthly club offerings, membership provides early access to all of ACME’s allocations and vertical-building opportunities through subsequent vintages of club selections. APEX members will receive one bottle each of three notable cellar treasures to enjoy, which will not exceed $750 per month, exclusive of shipping. To inquire about the new APEX club, please contact ACME’s Wine Club Director, Carina Barrera, at carina@acmefinewines.com or 707.963.0440.

Recent examples of wines in APEX club shipments have included:

  • 2019 J.H. Wheeler, Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville ($294) (owned by the Araujo family, with winemaker Nigel Kinsman)
  • 2019 DVO Red Wine, Napa Valley ($350) (a joint venture between Dalla Valle of Napa Valley and Ornellaia of Tuscany)
  • 2019 Arrow&Branch, Vine Hill Ranch, Cabernet Sauvignon ($280).
  • 2018 Diamond & Key, Panek Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Helena  (St. Louis Cardinal Nolan Arenado and Golden State Warrior star, Klay Thompson, have teamed up with winemaker Joe Harden)
  • 2019 DOGFARM Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2019 ($235) (crafted by the Israeli-born uber-talented winemaker Maayan Koschitzky)
