Unique Property Features Expansive Vineyard/Truffle Orchard

[May 31st -Templeton, CA] Caelesta Winery, Vineyard, and Truffière, a distinguished boutique winery rooted in family and passion, proudly announces the opening of its estate tasting room and winery, located in the picturesque Templeton Gap AVA of Paso Robles. This new venture marks an exciting chapter for Caelesta, a family owned business that brings passion for winemaking and farming to a stunning property boasting 35 acres of meticulously cared-for vineyards and a 10-acre producing black truffle orchard.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills and oak-studded landscape of Templeton, Caelesta presents an extraordinary destination for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. Visitors will be captivated by the winery’s enchanting ambiance and commitment to producing exceptional, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

The 35 acres of vineyards at Caelesta have been designed and farmed with care and expertise by Coastal Vineyard Services, a leading vineyard management company. With an unwavering dedication to sustainable practices and a deep respect for the land, the winery produces a diverse range of grape varietals – including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Tempranillo – allowing for the creation of an exquisite portfolio of both single variety and blended wines. From bold reds to crisp whites, each bottle embodies passion for quality winemaking.

Adding to the allure of the estate, Caelesta boasts a remarkable 10-acre black winter truffle (Tuber melanosporum, Black Périgord) orchard, cultivating one of the world’s most coveted delicacies. Known for their elusive nature and extraordinary flavor profiles, black truffles bring a rare touch to the winery’s offerings. Visitors have the unique opportunity to join truffle hunts conducted by Caelesta in the December to March season, where they can discover the intriguing world of truffle cultivation at one of the only producing orchards on the west coast and in the country.

The opening of the estate tasting room marks a significant milestone for the Farrell family, the owners of Caelesta, as they invite guests to immerse themselves in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where wine enthusiasts and newcomers alike can explore the world of fine wines and truffle delicacies. The spacious tasting room offers panoramic views of the vineyards, creating an idyllic setting to savor the wines.

“We are thrilled to open the doors of our new estate tasting room in Templeton,” says Caelesta winemaker Brian Farrell Jr.. “Our family has poured its heart and soul into crafting exceptional wines and cultivating the land to create a truly unique experience for our guests. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the beauty and bounty of Templeton and Paso Robles, as we share our passion and showcase the remarkable flavors that nature has bestowed upon us. We are lucky enough to call this property home and can’t wait to share its beauty with the community.”

In celebration of the grand opening, Caelesta will be hosting a series of special events, including exclusive tastings, tours of the vineyards and truffle orchard, and engaging educational experiences led by the winemaking team. Guests will have the opportunity to forge a personal connection with the Caelesta family and their unwavering dedication to crafting extraordinary wines.
