French Countryside Chef’s table at Domaine des Etangs on May 27
London – May 15, 2023 – Crurated, the London-based membership wine community designed to connect connoisseurs with world-class producers, today announced that the company has partnered with Satopia Travel to provide limited release wine for a Chef’s Table Hosted Experience in the French Countryside at Domaine des Etangs. Alfonso de Gaetano, Crurated’s CEO & Founder, has chosen Thienpont Family wines for the May 27 exclusive dinner from Award Winning Chef Dominique Crenn.
From May 24 to May 28 2023, Chef Crenn, of San Francisco’s noted 3-Michelin-star restaurant Atelier Crenn, returns to her native France, to cook up a fantastical five-day fairytale in the gorgeous Cognac countryside. The event is a behind the scenes look at how food is grown, cured, and prepared in France.
“We wanted to create an experience that really speaks to everything that I love about France, food, and art.” said Chef Crenn. “Each theme focuses on creativity and there is also a bit of mystery. I feel like each experience speaks to a different part of my life. I spent time in the garden with my mother and grandmother; took long walks in the forest with my father and brother; and I was born in Versailles. Each is so special to me and that will definitely be reflected in my dishes and the wines at this exclusive event.”
