Celebrating its 140th anniversary year, Wente Vineyards welcomes back anticipated White Party, tribute bands concerts series, and announces special Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations & more
Livermore Valley, CA (May, 2023) – Wente Vineyards, the country’s longest, continuously family-owned and operated winery, has announced an exciting lineup of events for the spring and summer season, including the highly anticipated annual White Party, tribute band concert series, Wine Wednesday event, as well as special Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations for locals,

Mother’s Day Celebration:
On Mother’s Day, May 14 from 12pm-5pm, guests are welcome to bring their families to Wente Vineyards for a special event, complete with food vendors such as Que Squared BBQ and HP Taco Truck. Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets and low chairs while enjoying a bottle of wine from Wente Vineyards portfolio and live music from the talented Meredith McHenry. Family members of all ages are welcome to the event, with the exception of pets, and interested guests can purchase wine by the bottle onsite. No reservations are required, and guests will be welcomed on a first come first serve basis. More information can be found here.
Annual White Party:
Wente Vineyard’s most highly anticipated event of the year is back! As an official kick off to summer celebration, the annual White Party will be held on Sunday, May 28 from 1pm-5pm, welcoming guests to dress up in their favorite all-white attire for a fun-filled day of music, dancing and Wente Vineyards’ award-winning wines. General admission tickets are $95 per person and include a gourmet boxed lunch with a choice of veggie or turkey, as well as a glass of wine upon entry. Additional wines by the bottle will be available for purchase onsite.
White Party guests can also opt for the VIP White Party Table option, which includes a reserved table, gourmet boxed lunch, and a glass of wine upon entry, as well as a complimentary bottle of wine from the special event wine menu. Father’s Day Celebration:
This Father’s Day, June 18 from 12:00pm-5:00pm, Wente Vineyards will welcome guests for a special day on the lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and low chairs for first come, first served seating. The day will be complete with live music, wine, and food from vendors such as Que Squared BBQ, New Tradition, and Your Taco Guy. Wine by the bottle will also be for purchase onsite. Family members of all ages are welcome with the exception of pets.
Wine Wednesday | July 26:
Visit us at Wente Vineyards for Wine Wednesday on July 26 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm where we’ll host guests on the patio with Wente wine and live music. Wines by the bottle and snacks from our kitchen will be available for purchase (please no outside food or alcohol). The event is complimentary and all guests over the age of 21 are welcome.
Tribute Band Concert Series:
Back by popular demand, Wente Vineyards will be hosting several tribute bands for its annual summer concert series featuring local artists from June through October.
Mustache Harbor | June 2

Crawdad Republic | June 30
Wente Vineyards welcomes guests to join Livermore’s own Crawdad Republic for a special musical performance of original folk and bluegrass music on June 30. Guests will bring their own low-back chairs or blankets and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. All adults over the age of 21+ are welcome, and tickets are offered at $30 per person for admission and a glass of wine. Food trucks will be serving a variety of different cuisines, including fare from Taco Guy, Que Squared, Crazy Empanadas, New Tradition, and HP Taco Truck. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will begin at 8:00pm.

Elton John – The Early Years | July 14
Music lovers and Elton John fans are in for a true treat on Friday, July 14, when talented performer Kenny Metcalf, who has mastered the sound of young Elton John, will perform the hits. Complete with an almost identical voice to Sir Elton and dressed in his classic attire of flared bell pants, platform shoes, glasses, glitter and sequins, “Kenny Metcalf as Elton” leaves listeners feeling as if they went back in time.

On August 11, one of the most authentic Eagles tribute bands, the Boys of Summer, will perform at Wente Vineyards for an unforgettable evening of live music, delicious fare from local food trucks, and award-winning Wente Vineyards wine. General admission to the event is $50 and includes a glass of wine upon arrival. Doors will open at 6:00pm with the show starting at 8:00pm, and guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis on the lawn.

The Purple One’s | September 22
Beloved Prince tribute band, The Purple Ones will bring you to your feet with their 11-piece act that includes a full horn section honoring the late superstar’s many musical talents. For $50, guests can expect a night of great music and dancing with doors opening at 6:00pm and the show starting at 8:00pm. Low-back chairs and blankets are encouraged as guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. On October 13, Wente Vineyards will be hosting one of the best Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute bands in the country, Skynnyn Lynnyrd, for an evening of country music, food from various food trucks paired with a selection of Wente Vineyards wine. For $50, guests can bring their low-back chairs and blankets to enjoy live music on the lawn, with a glass of complimentary wine and food from vendors like Your Taco Guy, Que Squared, Crazy Empanadas, New Tradition, and HP Taco Truck.
