The seventh edition of Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo’s journalism award sharing stories of regional wines and terroirs
May 4th 2023 – Nominations are currently being officially accepted for the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo journalism award, now in its seventh year acknowledging the many talented journalists inspired by stories of Abruzzo wines, people, and life, to write their narrative of this incredible district.
“In recent years Abruzzo has welcomed many journalists from all over the world, who have become ambassadors of our wines and of all the wonders our region has to offer,” explains Alessandro Nicodemi, president of the consortium. “This award was conceived with the intention of promoting stories and anecdotes that pay tribute to our district and is intended to acknowledge those whose work turns the spotlight on our winemaking culture.”
Awards will go to traditional, web and television media journalists, selected by a specialized technical panel from a list of contenders deemed worthy of note. The competition is open to all authors of journalistic work published or broadcast in the last year in any EU member country with wine-linked content dedicated to the territories, key figures, art and nature of Abruzzo. The competition has three sections: press (newspapers and periodicals); TV and radio; Web. Applications should be sent in by 31 May 2023.
The award ceremony is scheduled for 7 June, in Abruzzo
