Ledson Winery & Vineyards proudly announces Justin Schuchardt, assistant winemaker since June 2017, advances to Associate Winemaker.

Schuchardt, will become Associate Winemaker as of April 24, 2023. Owner and Winemaker Steve Ledson said there is no better person to take over the position of Associate Winemaker than Justin Schuchardt. Justin has worked as our Assistant Winemaker since the June 2017 and has proven to do an incredible job. He is delighted to say that Justin possesses all of the traits and qualities he seeks in a wine professional; in fact, he goes above and beyond on a daily basis.
Justin started his career at Cakebread Cellars as a harvest intern in 2010. From there he worked the next two harvests at Envy Cellars. In 2013 he accepted a Cellar Master position at Schweiger Vineyards and quickly moved up to Assistant Winemaker by 2015. In 2017 Justin was hired by Ledson to be their next Assistant Winemaker.
Winemaker Steve Ledson aims to produce the highest quality wines, regardless of varietal, typically using 95% estate grown fruit from some of the very best vineyards in all of Sonoma County, and prides himself on his ability to surround himself with top talent. Justin is no different.
