KENWOOD, CA (April 20, 2023) – Muscardini Cellars is thrilled to announce their 2023 Bottles in Bloom: Spring Release Weekend happening on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th. The weekend will feature a curated wine flight of new releases, live local music from the JDub + Dino Duo and the Don Trotta Duo, and traditional Italian cuisine from a duo of Sonoma County purveyors. This springtime event will be hosted in the serene backyard at the Muscardini Cellars property in Kenwood.
Canevari’s Delicatessen & Catering has created an exceptional Italian-inspired menu that features both classic and unique Italian pairings to accompany the Muscardini Cellars new releases. Stellina Pronto Italian Bakery will provide bite-sized desserts to conclude the tasting menu. The release weekend tasting flight of six wines and the food pairing is $50 for General Public and $20 for Wine Club Members.

As a second generation Italian-American, Michael Muscardini has called the Bay Area home most of his life. Michael makes his mark in Sonoma Valley with unique wines, focusing on Sangiovese, Barbera, and his proprietary Super-Tuscan style blends, Tesoro and Fortuna. Paying homage to his family roots on both sides of his family who hail from Tuscany and Piemonte, Michael has become a maverick in Italian winemaking in California. Michael seeks out growers in Sonoma County and beyond for their organic or sustainably grown grapes, building the Muscardini label into a world-class winery located in the heart of Sonoma Valley.

Proprietor Michael Muscardini has been a maverick winemaker in Sonoma Valley for over 15 years. Michael Muscardini is making roughly 5,000 cases a year of mostly classic Italian reds as well as robust blends that include Cabernet Sauvignon.
