Franciacorta Hosts First Official Restaurant Weeks in Miami

(April 14, 2023) Franciacorta is proud to announce that the first-ever Franciacorta Restaurant Weeks will be held in Miami, FL from April 14 – 30, 2023.

Participating restaurants include: Boia De, Water Lion Wine + Alchemy, Happy Wine in the Grove, The Patio at The Continuum, Toscana Divino, Happy Wine Calle Ocho, Macchialina, Wine By The Bay, Chevre, Flight Wine Bar, and Ruka Winewood.

“Miami is the perfect place for Franciacorta,” said President of the Consorzio Franciacorta, Silvano Brescianini, “The lifestyle, the weather, the cuisine… it’s a natural fit.”

Consorzio Franciacorta is the body which guarantees and monitors Franciacorta production standards, as the first Italian wine produced exclusively with the bottle refermentation process to have obtained the Protected and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOCG) denomination in 1995. The consortium’s work is developed in various activities: from safeguarding the brand and the area, and promoting the product in ongoing work on the production regulations and standards, to raising consumer awareness and promoting Franciacorta as an expression of an area, a wine and a production method. Founded on 5 March 1990, its head offices are in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta. The consortium is presided over by Silvano Brescianini and has 122 wine estate members.
