A new seasonal culinary experience at one of Sonoma’s most celebrated wineries

(April 11; Sebastopol, CA) – With the onset of spring and the excitement of a new season and its bounty of local ingredients, Lynmar Estate is pleased to introduce the Estate Pairing, a new culinary offering at its bucolic tasting room in the Russian River Valley. Nestled against the scenic backdrop of Quail Hill Vineyard, the seasonal-driven menu encapsulates Proprietors Lynn and Anisya Fritz’s vision for creating sensory experiences that blend the beauty of the estate’s lush gardens, world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnays and exquisite cuisine.

Meticulously crafted by Estate Chef David Frakes, the experience features four savory pairings that complement the winery’s highly acclaimed wines while showcasing seasonal estate ingredients, local purveyors, and the marriage between food and wine. The new Estate Pairing is available at 11am and 2pm, Thursday through Sunday, for groups of up to four, priced $165 per person or $145 per person for wine club members.

The Lynmar Estate culinary program remains one of the most regional specific

and thoughtful food and wine adventures in Sonoma County. Driven by deeply held values to be true to the land, Chef Frakes works hand in hand with Lynn and Anisya Fritz, as well as Lynmar’s head gardener, Justino Rosales and the agriculture team. The result is a culinary journey that captures the agricultural ecology of the property, while also enhancing the flavors and textures of the wines. With a background working at prominent Northern California locations such Gary Danko at the Ritz-Carlton, Applewood Inn in Guerneville, and Beringer Vineyards, Chef Frakes finds inspiration in not only the array of ingredients that flourish at Lynmar Estate but the creative leeway they are given in both the kitchen and the gardens.

“Lynmar Estate is a hub of inspiration,” says Chef Frakes. “After a long and somewhat dormant winter, our team emerges energized to truly showcase what we can plant and nurture at the estate. Our excitement lies in the marriage of flavors and pairings that we are able to highlight from the property.”

According to Anisya Fritz, “There is something very magical and inspiring about welcoming a new season at Lynmar Estate. We are incredibly diligent about ensuring that every seasonal culinary experience represents what the land is capable of providing, as it pertains to both food and wine.”

The menu includes estate-grown ingredients such as Anise Hyssop, Bay Laurel, Blood Orange, chives, cilantro, edible flowers, green onions, lemon, mint, olive oil, olives, parsley, rosemary, tarragon and thyme. Following in Lynmar’s farm to table approach to the culinary program, non-estate ingredients come from local purveyors that share the same farming ethics.
