Kenwood, CA (March 28, 2023) – Muscardini Cellars is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of one of their flagship wine’s, the 2019 Fortuna Red Blend. This iconic wine has been a staple for Michael Muscardini going back to 2008, when the very first vintage was released. Fortuna, meaning ‘Good Fortune’ in Italian, is a simple reminder to everyone in the Muscardini Cellars family that they are surrounded by good fortune on a daily basis. Beginning Saturday, April 1st, Muscardini Cellars invites guests to celebrate good fortune all month long with a complimentary antipasto bite to pair with this exciting new release.
The curated antipasto pairing to accompany the 2019 Fortuna is included in the regular Signature Tasting Flight and is available throughout the entire month of April. Reservations for all tasting experiences are encouraged and can be made on Tock.

The first ever Fortuna vintage came about after Muscardini Cellars’ Proprietor, Michael Muscardini, and local Producer, Brion Wise, struck up a friendship and realized they had one very crucial thing in common: wine. Consequently, they created a blend built on friendship and of course, lots of vino. The rest is history as the two began composing an exceptional wine.
Years later, this unique blend has evolved. While the fruit for the 2019 vintage is sourced from a variety of different vineyards, Muscardini will always cherish the story of where it began. The 2019 is one of the most diverse vintages yet as it showcases grapes from Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Paso Robles, and more. This new vintage showcases Michael Muscardini’s philosophy: to continue growing relationships and always leave the door open for new connections in Sonoma Valley and beyond.

Proprietor Michael Muscardini has been a maverick winemaker in Sonoma Valley for over 15 years. Michael Muscardini is making roughly 5,000 cases a year of mostly classic Italian reds as well as robust blends like Cabernet Sauvignon. He is one of the winemakers that has been leading the way in the revival of Sangiovese and Barbera wines in Sonoma since 2005. Michael’s deep community connections and warm relationships with local growers enable him to source the best fruit for his wines from some of the most unique vineyards in Sonoma County and beyond.
