Featuring Jazz Greats, 40+ California Wineries, Local Cuisine, and More!

HALF MOON BAY, CA – MARCH 22, 2023 –  The Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival is returning for its second year and is bigger and better than ever. Taking place on Saturday, May 13 from 12-5 p.m., wine and music lovers will enjoy tastings from a wide selection of California wineries, nationally-known jazz artists, local food, and a craft beer garden. The newly expanded VIP Lounge features an exclusive experience with distinguished wines paired with gourmet appetizers. The festivities will take place in Downtown Half Moon Bay along the charming and historic Main Street.

Musical Performances By The Bay Area’s Leading Jazz Artists

Headlining the main stage are world-class jazz musicians Paula West, the Marcus Shelby Quintet, and the John Santos Sextet. Local jazz bands will also be celebrated with live performances along Main Street. Highly acclaimed jazz and cabaret singer Paula West is recognized for her rich contralto voice and interpretations of diverse songs ranging from jazz standards to rock and folk classics. Marcus Shelby is a bassist, composer, arranger, educator and bandleader synonymous with Bay Area jazz. Seven-time Grammy-nominated percussionist John Santos is one of the foremost exponents of Afro-Latin music in the world today.

An Extensive Array Of California Wines

Wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to sample varietals from more than 40 renowned winemakers. Numerous regions throughout California will be represented including Napa Valley, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lodi, Santa Cruz Mountains, Livermore, Paso Robles, and more.

A Curated VIP Experience

The VIP Lounge offers an elevated experience with preeminent wines and appetizers from Chef Pablo Estrada of Fattoria e Mare. The cuisine will highlight the Coastside’s vast array of local organic ingredients. VIPs will also enjoy special perks such as early admission, select seating at the Main Stage, and access to the main event with all-day in and out privileges.

A multitude of top food establishments will be serving delicious fare. Fresh seafood, barbeque, and much more will be available for purchase.

Craft Beers & Ciders

A variety of craft brews and ciders will be tap. Beer tokens will be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets to the Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival can be purchased at www.hmbwineandjazzfest.com. General admission tickets are $55; VIP tickets are $125. Music-only tickets are available for $25. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cabrillo Education Foundation to support students of the arts.
