Napa County Farm Bureau’s AG Day 2023 This Thursday

Napa County Farm BureauMarch 6th – Napa, CA—The Napa County Farm Bureau is proud to announce it will be presenting Napa County Ag Day 2023 this Thursday, March 9 from 9am to 1pm at the Napa Expo fairgrounds in Chardonnay Hall.

This year, the Napa County Farm Bureau will welcome over 1,600 elementary school children to the Napa Expo fairgrounds. Napa County Ag Day is always a celebrated event that hosts Napa County elementary school children with approximately 30 vendors for a day of learning about all things Napa Valley agriculture.

This day is filled with hands-on experiences for students to learn about all the many facets of agriculture. Agriculture is the heart and soul of Napa County, providing our community with both a strong economy and an excellent quality of life. In order to sustain our world-renowned agricultural heritage, it is essential that children learn how food and fiber are produced. The goal of Ag Day is to showcase agriculture and help students gain a greater awareness of the role agriculture plays in the economy and our society, so that they may become citizens who support wise agricultural policies.

“This annual celebrated event in Napa County is one of the fundamental goals of the Farm Bureau—to not only represent the current generations of ag professionals in Napa County, but to foster, encourage and educate the next generation of ag professionals that will serve our Napa Valley,” said Ryan Klobas, Chief Executive Officer of the Napa County Farm Bureau.
