“What an absolute honor it is to receive these accolades, and for several different wines” said Director of Winemaking and Viticulture Jason Gorski. “These are special acknowledgements of our team’s passion in the cellar and absolute commitment to every wine in our portfolio, the tremendous work by our grower partners, and the remarkable and unique quality of Washington wine.”

Other accolades include Great Northwest Wine’s Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year award in the spring of 2022, and recognition for the winery’s tasting room and restaurant, The Lounge at DeLille Cellars, most notably Seattle Magazine’s Readers’ Choice for Best Wine Tasting and #4 on USA Today’s Top 10 Winery Restaurants.

“We are very humbled by the overwhelming recognition, especially as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary. It’s a true testament to the wonderful team we have and their relentless commitment to excellence and constant improvement,” said CEO Tom Dugan.

As part of the 30th Anniversary, DeLille hosted a celebration at the winery last spring and released a short documentary capturing the winery’s founding story. Started in 1992 by Jay Soloff, Chris Upchurch, and Charles and Greg Lill, DeLille was the first winery in the state to focus distinctly on Bordeaux-style blends. The video highlights the meeting of DeLille’s founders and the belief in and dedication to creating exceptional wines that express quintessential and world-class Washington fruit with French influence through blending. DeLille Cellars invites you to pour a glass of Washington wine and watch the story.

In 2019, DeLille Cellars moved all winery and hospitality operations to the Old Redhook Brewery in Woodinville, Washington. The winery includes a three-story tasting room and restaurant, The Lounge at DeLille Cellars. DeLille was the 50th winery in Washington and is the oldest operating winery in Woodinville. DeLille’s present-day portfolio consists of over 20 wines, a handful of which are nationally and internationally distributed.  In fall of 2023 and winter of 2024, DeLille will be releasing the 30th vintages of its founding wines, D2 and Chaleur Estate.
