January 26, 2023—With an aggressive growth agenda, Breakthru Beverage Group today announced several key promotions to strengthen its corporate development and commercial strategy teams. Erin Engels has been named SVP, Commercial Strategy; Chris Hull has been promoted to SVP, Corporate Development and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A); and Breakthru NextGen member Jacob Onufrychuk has been promoted to VP, Corporate Development. These roles align with the recent promotions of Kevin Roberts to Chief Commercial Officer and Julian Burzynski to Chief Operating Officer.

Leading commercial strategy, Engels will be responsible for above market commercial excellence, insights, and route-to-consumer sales strategies. Her team will be critical to driving across market standardization. Hull will lead the newly established team of Corporate Development and FP&A, responsible for Corporate Strategy, M&A, FP&A, and sales finance functions. Onufrychuk, a fourth-generation owner and board member, oversees growth strategy and M&A, including due diligence and integration.
The company’s growth strategy also requires a significant talent integration which will be led by newly appointed SVP of Human Resources, Judy Viera.
