This is the Oregon winery’s third location to open this year in the Portland metro area
HAPPY VALLEY, OREGON — Thursday, December 1: Willamette Valley Vineyards, a leading Oregon producer of Pinot Noir, opens its new Happy Valley Tasting Room & Restaurant to the public today.
The new venue brings the Oregon wine country experience to Happy Valley Crossroads East, a new retail development in the growing Oregon community just outside of Portland. Guests will discover Willamette’s sustainably grown wines paired with Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine in a full restaurant.
A sophisticated dining room features a carved granite boulder fire pit, warm wood paneling on the walls and Willamette’s signature barrel booth seating.

The Happy Valley location is the company’s third Tasting Room & Restaurant to open this year. The first Tasting Room & Restaurant opened in April in the charming downtown of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and the second opened in August on the waterfront in Vancouver, Washington, overlooking the Columbia River.
In addition to the Tasting Room & Restaurant locations, the company also opened a sparkling winery Domaine Willamette in the Dundee Hills in September.
Each new opening is a milestone demonstrating the strength of Willamette’s investors in helping the winery grow.

Willamette’s stockholders had first access to reservations at the Happy Valley outpost and have been trialing and enjoying their new location since mid-November.
Wine enthusiasts have invested in the winery by purchasing shares of preferred Willamette Valley Vineyards stock. Bernau conducted the first “crowdfunding” in the nation to build his winery by obtaining permission from the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1988, resulting in a growing fabric of laws allowing community-based funding for small businesses.
A new Willamette Valley Vineyards location is planned to open in the community of Bend, Oregon, in late summer 2023.
