Napa County Farm BureauNapa, CA—The Napa County Farm Bureau is proud to announce it will be presenting Napa County Ag Day 2023 this coming March.

Napa County Ag Day is always a celebrated event that hosts over 1,000 Napa County elementary school children for a day of learning about all things agriculture. The Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation, in conjunction with the Napa County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office, will be working together again to promote ag education in the Napa Valley with this 18th Annual “Ag Day” event Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Napa Valley Expo.

This day is filled with hands-on experiences for students to learn about all the many facets of agriculture. Agriculture is the heart and soul of Napa County, providing our community with both a strong economy and an excellent quality of life. In order to sustain our world-renowned agricultural heritage, it is essential that children learn how food and fiber are produced. The goal of Ag Day is to showcase agriculture and help students gain a greater awareness of the role agriculture plays in the economy and our society, so that they may become citizens who support wise agricultural policies.

“This annual celebrated event in Napa County is one of the fundamental goals of the Farm Bureau—to not only represent the current generations of ag professionals in Napa County, but to foster, encourage and educate the next generation of ag professionals that will serve our Napa Valley,” said Ryan Klobas, Chief Executive Officer of the Napa County Farm Bureau and Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation.

In 2020, this event drew over 1,000 students, teachers and parents thanks to the generosity of local businesses and organizations who sponsored and donated. For more information or to donate and help sponsor this event, please contact the Farm Bureau at (707) 224-5403 or kgrave@napafarmbureau.org. Our goal is to provide scholarships to any and all schools requesting sponsored bus transportation.

The Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation, the charitable arm of the Napa County Farm Bureau, is a 501c3 tax-deductible organization. Tax ID #32-0188127.
