Launches Second Philanthropic Year of Plate It Forward Program

LARKSPUR, Calif. – Oct. 17, 2022 – Line 39, a certified B Corp wine brand, has kicked off its second year of Plate It Forward, a campaign to support food insecurities through local community organizations.Through the Plate it Forward program, Line 39 gives consumers a simple way to both enjoy their favorite wine and help make a difference in the lives of their community this holiday season.

“Supporting our local communities is at the core of who we are at Line 39 and a key aspect of our B Corp commitment to make business a force for good,” said Blaire Fraser, Marketing Director for O’Neill Vintners & Distillers. “This holiday season, in an effort to help support some of the 38 million Americans who struggle to put food on the table, each bottle or glass of Line 39 purchased contributes funds to a local food bank — so people can Plate it Forward while enjoying their favorite wine. We know that supporting communities matters as much to our consumers as it does to us, and we are proud to bring back our Plate It Forward campaign in partnership with our local food bank, distributor and retail partners.”

This holiday season, Line 39’s Plate It Forward program will donate $45,000 to participating local food banks, resulting in over 20,000 meals provided across the country. Participating food banks include:

  • San Francisco Marin Food Bank, Calif.
  • Feeding Northeast Florida, Fla.
  • Feeding South Florida, Fla. 
  • Greater Chicago Food Bank, Ill.
  • Food Bank NYC, N.Y.
  • Central Texas Food Bank, Texas
  • North Texas Food Bank, Texas
