Alabama, September 20, 2022 – Universal Compressed Air (UCA) is pleased to announce that it has entered an agreement with Imerys to provide PIPELINE AIRTM to their plant in Sylacauga.
UCA will design, build, own, operate and maintain a state-of-the-art facility to provide compressed dry air to Imerys under its long-term PIPELINE AIRTM performance contracting model. The PIPELINE AIRTM contract will combine UCA’s compressed air supply expertise with oil-free dry air, a master control system and long-term performance guarantees. UCA will execute the design, construction, commissioning, startup, maintenance and operations of the new plant with startup expected in early 2023.
PIPELINE AIRTM is designed to allow companies to outsource compressed air needs as a utility, reduce energy and carbon footprint, preserve capital, and focus on their core business. UCA looks forward to supporting Imerys’ goal of efficient and reliable compressed air.
