The Mill Keeper, by Gamble Family Vineyards, and National Parks Conservation Association Celebrate a New Partnership Preserving our National Parks
(August 9, 2022; Napa, Calif.)— As a brand built on respecting the past and pioneering the future, The Mill Keeper, by Gamble Family Vineyards, is launching a partnership with National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), the leading voice for protecting America’s national parks. Together, the organizations are collaborating to help fight threats to our national park lands, and to ensure these iconic places are protected and preserved for present and future generations.
The Mill Keeper, by Gamble Family Vineyards, honors Napa’s first mill keepers of the mid 1800’s, who laid the foundation for the wine producers of today. The hard work of these culturally diverse men and women and their dedication to the land transformed the Napa Valley into a thriving, prosperous community. The Mill Keeper wines embody the hard work, determination and skill required to transform nature’s raw material into a dependable, approachable finished product.
“The Mill Keeper represents the belief that supporting the environment is accomplished through continuous reinvestment in the land and supporting the people who work to protect and preserve it – which to us, means organizations like NPCA,” said Tom Gamble, founder of The Mill Keeper. “We look forward to lending a helping hand, and celebrating our shared missions, to further NPCA’s land conservation efforts.”
This year, The Mill Keeper will donate $10,000 to support NPCA’s efforts to protect and enhance our national parks, including mobilizing NPCA’s more than 1.6 million members and supporters. The Mill Keeper’s support of NPCA and the nation’s parks is complemented by its environmentally conscious vineyard methods and ongoing commitment to sustainable land management programs.
“Sustainable business practices are imperative to the preservation of our public lands,” said Theresa Pierno, president and CEO of National Parks Conservation Association. “We are proud to partner with a brand who is so deeply committed to land stewardship. Like NPCA, the family of The Mill Keeper’s founder Tom Gamble – in drawing upon sustainable farming practices for more than three generations – has made land conservation their focus for more than 100 years. We look forward to now building on our shared missions, introducing the importance of park protection to new audiences to ensure our parks and public lands will continue to be cherished and enjoyed by future generations.”

About The Mill Keeper
The Mill Keeper was founded in 2021 by Tom Gamble—a farmer whose family legacy in the Napa Valley dates back more than a century–and is inspired by the history of Napa’s early wine industry pioneers of the mid 1800’s. The Mill Keeper brand embodies these pioneers’ enduring spirit and the Gamble Family’s desire to bring the virtues of their dedication and the resulting agrarian bounty of Napa to consumers in the United States and globally. Gamble uses his knowledge of the Napa Valley to source responsibly grown fruit from smaller, overlooked sites, with the goal of preserving the Napa Valley’s agricultural space, to create high quality, environmentally conscious wine at a value. The Mill Keeper’s foremost focus is to produce exceptional wine from vineyards with sustainable land management programs. Taking inspiration from Champagne, where vintages are blended to create consistently beautiful bottlings, The Mill Keeper produces multi-vintage Bordeaux wines at a price range of $28-$80.
