July 25th – Demptos Napa Cooperage welcomes Consulting Winemaker, Derek Irwin, as Barrel Sales Representative for Sonoma County & the Sierra Foothills. Derek is the Enologist and Viticulturist at Madura Consulting and Winemaker at Irwin Family Vineyards. Derek career in the wine industry began in 1994 and he is currently consulting with Wineries and Vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Amador and El Dorado Counties. He is a graduate of University of California, Davis. On his free time Derek enjoys cooking, foraging, fishing, hunting and working on his honey do list.
