Festival Napa Valley Raises Record Setting $3.75 Million at Arts for All Gala

Over $19 Million Raised to Date at Wine Country’s Biggest Arts Charity Event

Napa, CA (July 22, 2022) – Festival Napa Valley raised a record-setting $3.75 million at its Arts for All Gala on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Proceeds from the event provide free and affordable access to Festival concerts, inspiring educational programs and original programming for youth, and scholarships for talented young artists.

Held under a grand tent at Oakville’s Nickel & Nickel, the gala evening was headlined by Grammy Award-winner Trisha Yearwood. Guests enjoyed a lavish dinner by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, exquisite wines from Nickel & Nickel and Far Niente, and champagne provided by Be Bubbly. A live auction led by Emmy Award-winning auctioneer John Curley featured a collection of once-in-a-lifetime luxury lots, most of which included wines from Napa Valley or other regions.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments came when the Young People’s Chorus of New York serenaded guests with the premiere of California Medley, an arrangement by the group’s founder and artistic director Francisco J. Núñez, which featured beloved hits from Good Vibrations to Hotel California.

“This year’s Arts for All Gala was a tremendous success,” said Leslie Frank, Festival Board Member and Gala Chair. “The $3.75 million raised surpassed our previous record by over $1 million! Thanks to the spirited generosity of our donors and sponsors, Festival Napa Valley is having a profound impact on the quality of life in Napa Valley and beyond.”

Top lots included $410,000 for a tripled-down offer by Bouchaine Vineyards proprietors Tatiana and Gerret Copeland for an all-inclusive stay at their luxurious Toucan Hill villa in Mustique; a trip to the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix; a culinary-inspired journey to Tuscany; a private fashion experience at Neiman Marcus and a week-long stay at an opulent Exclusive Resorts villa; an intimate performance and dinner at Joshua Bell and Larisa Martínez’  NYC penthouse; a bespoke adventure in Lake Como and Milan hosted by renowned jewelry house Pomellato; and trips to London to attend the Glyndebourne Festival, to the Penfolds Magill Estate in Australia, and to Montana to visit the set of the hit TV show Yellowstone

Fabulous buy-a-spot lots included a trip to the Catalonia region of Spain to experience the new Raimat Arts Festival; a private concert featuring Grammy Award- winning Gloria Estefan and pianist Shelly Berg at the estate of Jeffrey and Tina Miller; a women’s luncheon hosted by Amanda Harlan Maltas and Deborah Harlan at BOND winery; and an intimate evening with Andrea Bocelli & Family in support of Festival Napa Valley and the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.
