Dundee, Ore. (June 15, 2022) — Dobbes Family Estate is thrilled to announce the return of Summer Fest, the winery’s biggest and most anticipated event of the year. On Saturday, July 9, the urban winery and tasting room will host nine food, floral, and craft goods vendors, two live musicians, a guest brewery, and over 500 guests in two sessions, the first from 11:00am to 2:00pm and the second from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Now in its third year, Summer Fest is known for its lively atmosphere, sun-drenched outdoor wine tasting, local community marketplace, and bright and festive décor. This year’s event will add the release of Dobbes’ first-ever Gold Rosé to the lineup of offerings.
An extremely limited and unconventional bottling, the 2021 Gold Rosé of Pinot Noir features an exceptionally summery and aromatic nose of honeysuckle and ripe honeydew melon, in large part due to the inclusion of Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc grape skins introduced during fermentation. The perfect accompaniment to summer soirées, event guests will be among the first to taste and gain access to this wine before it sells out.
With a glass of Gold Rosé in hand, guests will enjoy live music from local artists Aimee Joy and Jacob Westfall (NBC’s “The Voice”, ABC’s “American Idol”) alongside a bountiful marketplace of locally-made gifts and goodies from Forge & Fire Jewelry, Nature’s Pet, Pollinate Flowers, The Rose Confectionery, Willa and Jean Candles, and Woman & Wolf.
Adults and kids alike can enjoy face painting from Mystique Fancy Faces, provisions from Renegade Food Truck, and photo ops in Hammie the Photo Booth. Guests who are 21+ will especially enjoy Dobbes’ famous Rosé slushies and pours from guest brewery 54°40 (Washougal, WA) in the Dobbes Wine Garden.
