Atlanta, GA – (June 2, 2022) – Fine Wine Series, a premier wine and R&B festival for BIPOC professionals rooted in wine, fashion, and music, has announced the first event of its multi-city tour in Atlanta at Piedmont Park on July 30th. This year, the Fine Wine Series will kick off in Atlanta, marking its 7th year anniversary and the first debut in Atlanta. The celebrated event is known for creating a lively, luxurious atmosphere for young professionals to mingle, learn about and enjoy wine, all while grooving to R&B music that has been–and continues to be the soundtrack of their lives.
This year’s festival at Piedmont Park will be The Fine Wine Series’ biggest event to date, featuring an array of wines curated by wine experts and Instagram-worthy photo installations, while experience (VIP) ticket holders will have access to a VIP lounge area, complete with a private bar, exclusive installations and hors d’oeuvres by celebrity chef Brittney “Stikxz” Williams. The event will be headlined by DJ Canal, award-winning audio engineer, and Fine Wine Series official DJ, featuring sets by multiple renowned DJs.
Founded in 2015, the Fine Wine Series began in Philadelphia as a social experience for BIPOC tastemakers yearning for a sophisticated and inclusive networking experience. With the inaugural event’s success, the Fine Wine Series expanded to New York City the following year. After several sold-out events, wine and R&B became the cornerstone of the social gathering, which has been attended by almost 10,000 people to date.
“We couldn’t be more excited to expand the Fine Wine Series and kick off this event in Atlanta,” says JC Canal, co-founder and managing partner of Fine Wine Series. “This series is more than an experience–it is a lifestyle that embodies Black excellence by embracing and amplifying luxury, wine, cultural experiences, and community through wine and music. We have so much in store for everyone this year!”
Over the years, the Fine Wine Series has grown in popularity and is attended by VIPs, influencers and wine enthusiasts alike nationwide. Today, the Fine Wine Series’ mission is to cultivate an unforgettable experience geared towards BIPOC millennials while increasing the knowledge of wine, a space not many people of color are well-versed in. With the expansion of its footprint across the United States each year, the series is set to expand throughout North America within the years to come.
Additional details on the Atlanta event and the upcoming 2022 events will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.finewineseries.com.
