The event celebrates the vineyard’s 2019 Estate Red release.
Stonewall, Texas – May 23, 2022 – Kuhlman Cellars is excited to announce the second annual Dog Days of Summer Wine Release Party benefiting the Humane Society of New Braunfels Area on July 17, 2022 from 12 pm – 3 pm. This dog-friendly event celebrates the release of Kuhlman Cellars’ 2019 Estate Red, 2021 Calcaria, and 2021 Estate Rosé with live music, light bites, games, and more. Tickets to the wine release party are $10, which includes a taste of each new wine. Event tickets are included with advance purchase of 6 or 12 bottle bundles on the website.
There will be doggy pools and BARKuteria boards available for the canine guests. $1 of each bottle sold of the new releases and all bottles sold on July 17th will support the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area, the shelter where the Kuhlman team adopted their beloved vineyard cat, Nico.

New Wine Release: 2019 Estate Red
The 2019 Estate Kuhlmanation Red is a blend of Carignan, Aglianico and Mourvedre grown directly at the Estate. Harvested over multiple days in August, 2019, the wine was fermented and then spent about 20 months in French oak barrels before being bottled in July 2021. This is Kuhlman Cellars’ first ever estate grown red wine, nine years in the making. There are notes of blackberry and blueberry fruit and tobacco with firm tannins supported with good acidity. This wine will pair perfectly with rich cuisine such as filet mignon, brie cheese, and even a meat and cheese lasagne. Learn more and order here.
New Wine Release: 2021 Calcaria
The 2021 Calcaria is another stunning example of one of Kuhlman Cellars’ best selling white wines. A blend of 48% Albarino, 39% Roussanne, 13% Viognier, 100% Texas High Plains Fruit, this wine is easy to drink and even easier to pair. Rich and full-bodied with refreshing fruit and a wonderful core of acidity, this wine continues the Kuhlman Cellars tradition of world class fine wine. New Wine Release: 2021 Estate Rosé
A wonderful, bright and refreshing dry rosé. This is the 5th release of Kuhlman Cellars’ Estate Rosé, showing a more copper-salmon hued color, promising refreshing fruit on the palate with nice acidity to perfectly complement nearly all Texan cuisine.
