29 March – PLEASANTON, CA – The 2022 Alameda County Fair Commercial Wine Competition is open now for entries in the Alameda County, Zin Challenge and Sauvignon Summit categories.
To enter the Commercial Wine Competition, competitors must register through the Fair’s website by Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Rules and regulations for each category vary slightly and can be found at the links below:

Entries in these categories can be scored on a number of components such as appearance and color, aroma and bouquet, total acid, flavor and body, and overall quality.
Winning categories will be announced and displayed during the annual Alameda County Fair. Categories that are up for grabs include, but are not limited to, Best of Show Dessert Wine, Best of Show Zin and Best of Show Sauvignon Blanc.
