Healdsburg’s Curated Collective of Winery Tasting Rooms Reaches Full Capacity and Kicks Off Year-Long Series of Events
Healdsburg, Calif., March 18, 2022 — Bacchus Landing is pleased to announce a full house of winery tasting rooms and the return of on-premise events starting this spring. Since first opening its doors in the summer of 2021, Bacchus Landing has curated a collection of world-class boutique wineries and outstanding events to provide visitors and locals alike with unique opportunities to experience wine, food, and culture in the bustling heart of Healdsburg.
On March 1, The Setting opened its doors as the latest addition to the collective of exceptional winery tasting rooms at Bacchus Landing, which currently includes AldenAlli, Aldina Vineyards, 13th & Third Wines, Dot Wines, Montagne Russe, and Smith Story Cellars. Established in 2014, The Setting, which recently made headlines when its 2019 Glass Slipper Cabernet Sauvignon earned a bid of one-million dollars to benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, is a collection of luxury wines created by friends Jeff Cova, Noah McMahon, and winemaker Jesse Katz. The tasting room will offer several consumer experiences including The Setting Wines Experience, The Oakville Vertical Experience, The Alexander Valley Vertical Experience, and The Single Vineyard Experience.
“Our goal was to create a tasting space that reflects the exceptional quality and excitement for wine and hospitality that we are all so passionate about,” says Vince Bonafede, General Manager of The Setting Wines. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have made that dream a reality here in Sonoma County, and at Bacchus Landing in particular, which is quickly becoming a world-class destination for wine enthusiasts. We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming guests to our stunning new tasting room – it truly is the perfect setting for enjoying The Setting wines.”
In March, Bacchus Landing will also welcome the return of several popular event series, including:
- “Sip & Savor Sundays” Food Truck Series – Bacchus Landing will once again partner with a variety of local food trucks to host its “Sip & Savor Sundays” Food Truck Series starting Sunday, March 20. Food trucks will be located by “Frank’s Place” just outside the piazza walls where visitors can enjoy bocce ball courts, picnic tables, lawn games and more while sampling specially selected, wine-friendly bites from local food truck favorites. “Sip & Savor Sundays” will take place every Sunday through October 23rd. Local food trucks to be featured include The Black Piglet, Best Food Truck Ever, War Pigs BBQ, Lila’s Streetside Eats, and The Hot Box. These events are open to the public and free to attend.
- Live Music on the Piazza – Beginning on Saturday, April 2, Bacchus Landing will once again welcome a variety of musicians from Sonoma County and beyond for Live Music on the Piazza. This series will continue through December and will take place on the first Saturday of each month. Local bands set to perform include Rock On A Roll, Carlitos Medrano & Sabor De Mi Cuba, and Gina and the Gents. These events are open to the public and free to attend.
In addition to its recurring event series, Bacchus Landing will host a variety of events in commemoration of special holidays throughout the year, including a Rosé All Day event on June 11th, 4th of July festivities, Labor Day Weekend Celebration on September 4, and the Harvest Celebration Dinner on September 24. During all Bacchus Landing events, tasting rooms will be open and available for by-the-glass offerings and bottle sales for on or off-premise consumption.
Since opening in summer 2021, Bacchus Landing has cemented its place as a gathering place for wine lovers through outstanding wine experiences, standout events, and, most recently, wine education. In January 2022, Odyssey Wine Academy announced the launch of its Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) at Bacchus Landing, allowing everyone from passionate wine lovers to members of the wine industry the opportunity to earn a world-class wine certification.
“With the addition of The Setting to our full roster of wineries, the opening of Odyssey Wine Academy, and our signature events series returning, Bacchus Landing has truly become what my family and I set out to create: the ultimate destination to spend the day enjoying laid back, yet luxurious wine experiences paired with the food and culture of Sonoma County,” says Monica Lopez, Co-Owner and General Manager of Bacchus Landing. “We look forward to welcoming back Sonoma County locals and those visiting wine country to our home away from home this year!”
Bacchus Landing is open from 10:00am – 5:00pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The property is located at 14210 Bacchus Landing Way, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
