The 12th edition of Italy’s leading B2B Workshop originally due to take place 1-3 March will take place on 2 – 4 May due to importer concerns over travel and the Omicron variant.
18 January – “Given the uncertainty and travel restrictions generated by the current Omicrom created situation in many countries and in order to guarantee a healthy attendance of buyers we have moved the dates for the B2B in Italy to 2 – 4 May” reported the organisers.
Dates for the 17th edition of Spain’s leading B2B Workshop have also been moved due to Barcelona Wine Week postponing their event to the same dates as the Wine Pleasures B2B Spain scheduled for 4 – 6 April. New dates have been set for 25 – 27 April in order to ensure a healthy attendance of both producers and buyers.
Event Director Anthony Swift commented: ”We hope the large trade fairs can stick to their dates or postpone them until next year and avoid cramming them into April and May making them manic months for both producers and buyers. No event will get their full attendance or attention as people will be bewildered by so many back to back or even overlapping events”.
Wine Pleasures B2B Workshops are attended by boutique wine producers from mostly Italy, Portugal and Spain and by wine importers from around the world who are actively looking to source new producers and wines in a highly personalised stress free setting.
