Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners Names Former Patagonia Executive Bart Bromberger as New VP Finance

NAPA VALLEY, Calif. – November 2, 2021 – Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners (DVWP) is excited to announce the appointment of Bart Bromberger to the role of VP finance. Bromberger comes to DVWP after a six-year tenure at Patagonia Provisions, where he served as head of operations and finance. As VP finance, Bromberger will report directly to DVWP Managing Director Steve Myers, and will oversee all financial matters for the company’s acclaimed portfolio of wineries, which includes Argyle Winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Sonoma County, Markham Vineyards and TEXTBOOK in Napa Valley, and Dough Wines, DVWP’s pioneering philanthropic partnership with the James Beard Foundation.

Bromberger received his Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Occidental College and earned his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. Certified level 3 in Japanese language proficiency, Bromberger began his career teaching English in Japan before holding sales positions at Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., and JFE Shoji Trade America Inc. From there, Bromberger worked in asset management operations at Goldman Sachs Inc., before spending three years as a financial analyst at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where he was part of their MBA rotational program. In 2015, Bromberger joined Patagonia Provisions, a division of Patagonia Inc., where he led operations and finance activities for the new food division of the acclaimed apparel company until joining DVWP. In addition to his wine industry experience at E. & J. Gallo, Bromberger also worked the 2007 harvest as the assistant to the winemaker at Napa Valley’s GustavoThrace Winery.

In addition to his role as VP finance for DVWP, Bromberger will also serve on the DVWP Executive Leadership Team. Bromberger, who lives in Sausalito, California with his wife, Nancy, and young son, Austin, will be based out of Northern California.
