Co-Founders Cameron Diaz & Katherine Power Adds a Russian River Pinot Noir Wine to Their Portfolio

Avaline logoLOS ANGELES (October 13, 2021) – Today, the clean and transparent wine brand Avaline, co-founded by Cameron Diaz (wellness author: The Body Book, The Longevity Book) and Katherine Power (Who What Wear, Versed Skincare, Merit), releases a limited edition Pinot Noir, their first wine produced in the brand’s birthplace of California. Now available exclusively via Avaline’s website, this varietal red wine joins Avaline’s Red Blend in the brand’s portfolio of six (and counting) clean, delicious wines. All Avaline wines are made with organic grapes, vegan-friendly, contain under 1g of sugar and are free of unwanted extras like colors and concentrates.

This small batch Pinot Noir (SRP $26), is a light-bodied wine offering notes of roasted strawberries and wild plum, inviting Avaline lovers to cozy up for fall foliage with a glass in hand. A versatile wine, Avaline Pinot Noir makes a particularly perfect pairing with fall’s fading sunlight, your favorite song and a big bowl of pesto pasta.

Avaline Pinot Noir is produced by Porter Creek Vineyards, a CCOF certified vineyard and biodynamic Demeter certified, family-run winery nestled in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County.  Porter Creek shares many of Avaline’s values, like organic farming, low intervention winemaking and the use of indigenous or natural yeast.  Winemaker Alex Davis believes in the “traditional old world” style of making wine.

Avaline launched their first Red (SRP $24) wine in 2020, which quickly grew in popularity, and Cameron’s favorite, is now made in partnership with EthicDrinks in Bordeaux, France. Its founder, Mickael Alborghetti, has a passion for the environment and is committed to respecting and protecting nature in every aspect of the winemaking process. His partnership with WWF France and Surfrider helps to fight against plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea.  His company is a certified B Corporation and has a carbon neutral footprint.  EthicDrinks was awarded “most sustainable packaging in wine, 2021” by the French government.

“The most important part of our process starts with farming, so we could not be more proud to announce Porter Creek Vineyards and EthicDrinks as our partners,” shares Cameron. “Their commitment to sustainability is remarkable and we are thrilled to support their mission, just as they support ours.”

“Our goal this fall with Pinot Noir and Red is to bring our community together over wines made for any occasion, whether that’s winding down with friends after a long day or enjoying it alongside a seasonal dinner spread,” says Katherine.

With all nutritional information and ingredients displayed front and center on their bottles and readily available on their website, Avaline is constantly working to raise the standard of what’s in your glass by providing full transparency. Avaline’s online store currently ships to AK, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, MN, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OR, TX and WY with more to come soon. For additional information on Avaline, please visit www.drinkavaline.com and follow along @avaline.
