Wente Vineyards launches new wine and food pairing experiences and summer tribute band series

Wente Vineyards LogoLivermore Valley, CA – September 3, 2021 – Wente Vineyards is pleased to launch a new, reimagined  customer experience at the Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge, including wine and culinary tastings, live  music events and much more. The Tasting Lounge is located at 5050 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA, the  former site of The Vineyard Table and The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards,

Two new wine and food experiences highlight the diverse range of wines, each matched with a food pairing called– The Reserve Tasting and The Classic Tasting. The Reserve Tasting features four small-lot and Nth  Degree wines served with small bites to compliment and accentuate the wine’s flavors. Made in-house by  the winery’s chef Tony Glanville, the four pairings are seasonally inspired and delicately balanced for each  wine. The summer pairings are 2019 Eric’s Chardonnay paired with Dungeness crab cake with a microgreen  salad and lemon agave vinaigrette remoulade and 2017 nth DEGREE Cabernet Sauvignon paired with pan seared filet medallion with smoked gouda mashed potatoes and grape tomato fondue. The wine and food  offerings will change with the seasons so guests can have a unique epicurean experience every time they  visit.

The second culinary option, The Classic Tasting, is a more relaxed tasting flight of four small-lot wines paired  with light, shareable offerings. Also made in-house by the winery’s chef, the pairing currently features a  fresh tomato salad and a Chardonnay wood-fired pizza with mushrooms, green onion soubise, mozzarella,  and pork sausage complemented by a flight of 2019 Eric’s Chardonnay, 2018 nth DEGREE Chardonnay,  2018 Winemaker’s Selection Artisan Red, and 2018 Cabernet Franc.

Wente Vineyards offers wine tasting flights and small bites either inside the Tasting Lounge or on the patio  overlooking the hills of the Livermore Valley. Beginning Thursday, August 19th, the Wente Vineyards Tasting  Lounge is open Thursday evenings from 4 to 8 pm for wine, small bites, and live music. Reservations for  seating are recommended but not required and available at WenteVineyards.com.

Wente Vineyards has historically been a destination for wine and food lovers to Livermore Valley wine  country. The winery had one of the first tasting rooms in California that opened in 1966, and in 1986 The  Restaurant at Wente Vineyards was one of the first restaurants at a wine estate. In 1998, the family built a  world-renowned golf course designed by golf legend Greg Norman open to the public. In 2019, the

restaurant was closed after 33 years to be reimagined as The Vineyard Table and Tasting Lounge. In 2021,  the family reopened the space in its second transformation to the Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge. Wente  Vineyard’s customer feedback inspired the evolution and to focus on the vast portfolio of award-winning  wines.
