(August 12, 2021; Yountville, Calif.)—Tony Baldini, President and COO of Lede Family Wines, is pleased to announce the promotion of three key members of the winery production team at Cliff Lede Vineyards, located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. Christopher Tynan, Winemaker at Cliff Lede Vineyards since 2012, will now take the role of Director of Winemaking. Associate Winemaker Travis Bullard, who first joined the production team in 2010, has been promoted to Winemaker, and Anna Compton, who joined the company in 2017 and was previously Enologist, has been promoted to Assistant Winemaker.
“The Cliff Lede Vineyards team is tight-knit and extremely collaborative,” says Baldini. “We are incredibly lucky to have such long-term winemaking personnel on our team who, above all else, are dedicated to producing the highest caliber of wines. It is an honor to promote these three key members of our team and to be able to encourage and play a part in the advancement of their careers.”
For Travis Bullard, this promotion is the fulfillment of a dream more than a decade in the making. “I fell in love with the Cliff Lede portfolio the first time I tasted the wines, and I knew at that moment that I wanted to dedicate my career to Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,” says Bullard, a native Californian, Cal Poly alum and father of three. “It is a pleasure to work with such an intelligent, hardworking and committed team.”

In addition to continuing to oversee all aspects of winemaking at Cliff Lede Vineyards, I look forward to expanding my role as a mentor.”
