NAPA, CA (May 27, 2021)Darioush is excited to announce a partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, United Kingdom, in conjunction with the opening of the museum’s expansive new exhibition, Epic Iran. Darioush will serve as a sponsor of the exhibit, which will open to the public on Saturday, May 29 and run through Tuesday, September 21.

Epic Iran explores 5,000 years of Iranian art, design and culture, bringing together over 300 objects from ancient, Islamic and contemporary Iran. The exhibit is a celebration of a heritage and culture shared by Darioush Winery, with the winery’s history rooted deeply in Persian culture. The exhibit will also display artwork licensed by the winery and featured on Darioush’s Darius II—a wine that represents the best of varietal, vineyard and vintage and is considered to be the crown jewel of the Darioush estate.

“This partnership was a natural fit for us, given the shared culture and love of the arts—Darioush, our wines, and property all pay homage to the Persian roots of our founders, Darioush and Shahpar Khaledi,” says Dan de Polo, President of Darioush. “We’re thrilled to support the launch of this exhibit which will share with an entirely new audience some of the greatest artistic achievements of Iran.”
