NAPA VALLEY, California – May 20th, 2021 – Beginning on May 24th, the new Migration tasting room located in the picturesque Carneros region of Napa Valley will begin welcoming guests. Located at 1451 Stanly Lane, the Migration tasting room is ideally situated between Napa Valley and Sonoma County, less than an hour’s drive from San Francisco and Oakland. Offering an elegant, upscale farmhouse aesthetic that reflects the breezy natural beauty of Carneros wine country, the tasting room will be open to the public for by-appointment seated tastings of Migration’s acclaimed cool-climate wines between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
“We are thrilled to be putting down roots in this exciting community,” says Migration Winemaker Dana Epperson. “Not only is Carneros one of the premier wine destinations, it is a lovely place for guests to relax and enjoy the idyllic natural environment as they explore our world-class wines. With its cool, maritime-influenced climate and rich history growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and other cool-climate grapes, Carneros is the ideal place to experience our vibrant style of winemaking, which emphasizes lush fruit, bright acidity and impeccably balanced oak.”
The new tasting room features two beautifully appointed interior rooms for sit-down tastings, including a VIP room and a welcoming wine bar, as well as a secluded all-season patio, and grounds designed with an emphasis on native species and drought-tolerant plants. Adding to its allure, the tasting room is close to vineyards, wetlands, and public bike and hiking trails, and is just minutes from desirable accommodations, downtown Napa and the Sonoma Square. In addition to the unveiling of Migration’s new home, there are other noteworthy projects underway in the region, including the highly anticipated opening of the Stanly Ranch Resort, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection.
Founded in 2001 with a focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California’s top cool-climate appellations, Migration is a member of The Duckhorn Portfolio, which includes such iconic wineries as Duckhorn Vineyards, Decoy, Calera and Kosta Browne. Using grapes from California’s finest vineyards, including its own Running Creek Estate in the Russian River Valley, Migration crafts a renowned portfolio of appellation- and vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, along with Syrah, Grüner Veltliner, Rosé of Pinot Noir and a Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine.
