Kirk Taylor of Sierra Foothills Water Management Addresses Grape Growers on What to Expect During a Dry Irrigation Season

May 13th – PLACERVILLE, CA: All grape growers, vintners and interested parties are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 19, at 6:30pm, for a Zoom discussion on the timely issue of vineyard water and irrigation management during a drought year. Our guest speaker will be Kirk Taylor of Sierra Foothills Water Management who will discuss several irrigation issues to consider and monitor as the season progresses in this drought year.

The discussion will include considerations such as: soil moisture levels; history of seasonal vineyard irrigations; effectiveness of irrigation events; and water reduction strategies.
