This Sparkling White from the Asti DOCG Joins the Popular Rosa Regale Sparkling Red

Rosa Regale White joins the iconic Rosa Regale Sparkling Red in celebration of its 20^th anniversary vintage, the first line extension since the brand’s launch.

Rosa Regale is one of the first brands in the portfolio to benefit from the family-owned company’s recent strategic changes, allowing for increased focus on its proprietary labels. After analyzing the portfolio and evaluating category opportunities and consumer trends, Rosa Regale was a clear place to start. Rosa Regale Sparkling White

The new Rosa Regale Sparkling White is made from 100% Moscato Bianco sourced from the nearby Asti DOCG region in Piedmont, Italy. Rosa Regale is made in the Charmat process or Metodo Italiano. The handpicked Moscato grapes are settled and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once the wine reaches 7% alcohol and a pressure of 5.5. bars, the wine is chilled and immediately filtered before bottling. The result is a lightly sparkling white wine with sophisticated sweetness and intense aromas of orange blossom with hints of acacia flowers and sage. Well-balanced with fresh acidity and hints of honey, this wine pairs well with everything from patios to pastries.

The Story of Rosa Regale

Rosa Regale Sparkling Red is made from Brachetto d’Acqui, in one of Italy’s smallest DOCG production zones. Legend says that Brachetto d’Acqui was a favorite beverage of Cleopatra, and both Julius Caesar and Marc Antony presented her with several wine skins filled with the precious liquid. By the time the Mariani family purchased its Piedmont estate in 1979, Brachetto d’Acqui was all but forgotten to wine lovers outside of its local area. Recognizing the beauty and crowd-pleasing nature of the varietal, Banfi created Rosa Regale Sparkling Red. The outstanding quality of this affordable sparkling wine is due to the vineyards: Banfi sources the grapes for its Sparkling Red from the La Rosa single vineyard. La Rosa is immortalized as the single rose on the Rosa Regale label.
