May 7, 2021 (New York, NY) – Women of the Vine & Spirits (WOTVS), the leading membership organization, worldwide, dedicated to boldly pushing the wine, beer and spirits industry toward a more diverse, equitable and inclusive era announced today its Founder & CEO, Deborah Brenner has been awarded the Honor Circle of Inspiring & Innovative Women 2021 Amber L. Glassman Inspiration Award by University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship.
The Inspiration Award was established to recognize the contributions of extraordinary individuals who have served as role models and inspirational exemplars for other innovative and entrepreneurial women. Brenner is a University of Delaware alumni of the Class of ‘88.
“I feel strongly that education and personal development are essential means of empowering and advancing women with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to thrive and I am appreciative of University of Delaware recognizing me with this award,” said Brenner. “I am happy to accept it on behalf of my organization, Women of the Vine & Spirits, whose aim is to accelerate the pace of change within the wine, beer and spirits industry.”
Brenner was honored and presented with her award during the virtual Honor Circle of Inspiration & Innovative Women Award Ceremony, May 4, 2021.
