May 6, 2021, Santa Maria, CA – Miller Family Wine Company, a division of the industry-leading Thornhill Companies, is pleased to welcome Joe Florek as Director of Sales, East.A long time industry veteran, Florek joins Miller Family Wine Company after most recently working as Director of Sales, Southeast Division, for Freixenet Mionetto USA, where he was responsible for planning, executing and evaluating sales programs to exceed sales goals and drive lasting customer relationships. A results-oriented leader with a proven record of success, Florek’s career in beverage sales management has spanned decades, having held leadership positions with such respected companies as Prestige Wine Imports, Brown-Forman, Constellation Spirits, and Fetzer Vineyards.
As Director of Sales, East, for Miller Family Wine Company, Florek will be responsible for leading wholesale efforts within 27 markets on the East Coast – including the major markets of IL, FL and NY – in addition to managing a team of regional sales managers and developing and maintaining key distributor relationships.
