Correns, France – 3 May 2021 – Château MIRAVAL has just announced the official launch of the 2020 vintage of their quintessential rosé, MUSE de MIRAVAL. Intense and rare, every year the very soul of MIRAVAL is displayed in the most beautiful setting possible: a unique creation designed by an artist who respects the estate’s philosophy. Strongly influenced by Art Deco, the new inspiration for the bottle for the MUSE de MIRAVAL 2020 vintage comes from the amazing geometrical patterns that are formed by the natural topography of the parcels within Château Miraval’s vineyard.
Composed of a strict selection of the two best and oldest parcels of the Chateau, MUSE DE MIRAVAL is the estate’s most exclusive rosé and available only in magnums. This organic rosé, designed for cellaring, is vinified in egg-shaped concrete tanks, and a small portion is also matured in demi-muids. A subtle blend of Grenache and Rolle, the 2020 edition displays a very aromatic nose, instantly bringing to mind the heady fragrances of the legendary, Provençal estate. The structure on the palate is magnificent, revealing aromas of peach, cherry, and mango, combined with creamy honey and spices. All this is prolonged through a finish of incredible length. This is a unique and extremely elegant rosé and, like a fine work of art, its patina will develop over time.
Available in a super limited series only, MUSE de MIRAVAL’s creative approach is an artisanal one, even down to the bottles which are entirely handmade. For this 2020 vintage, the inspiration came from the natural boundaries of the various parcels found in the very heart of Château Miraval.
